PACE A vs Brimsdown Gotchas

Event Date: March 4, 2017 at 1:00 pm Event Location: West Lea School

Last seasons National Boccia League London champions, PACE A, will get their season off to a start on Saturday 4th March.

They’ll be playing the Brimsdown Gotchas at 1am, over two six-end matches. The winners of the London league will gain qualification into the National League Finals, held in Sheffield, with the top six progressing to the Super League.

PACE A will be led by experienced captain Alex Dukes, who recently won a silver medal at the BE Cup rounds. Ramandeep Mann, with her recent equipment changes will be hoping to add quality to the team, particularly with her layup.

The squad hopes to welcome back Jagjit Chuk back into the squad after a recent break from training, with Jamie Keat also looking to build on his experience after demonstrating good consistency with his layups at the recent Heathcoat cup.

Recent BE Cup gold medallist and last seasons National Champion, Reshad Saraj, will be expected to put in a good performance, while he focusses on his preparations for the season ahead.

Coached by Marion Coram-Ware, and with experienced and quality athletes throughout the team including Joe and Emily Brown, Shane, Jake and Vanshi, the Brimsdown Gotchas have always proved extremely tricky opponents for PACE A.

Starting line-ups will be announced on the day on the PACE website, Facebook and Twitter streams.

Admission is free. Supporters and fans of both teams are welcome.
