  • The Trustees are pleased to announce that PACE is now a registered charity.

September 2007

  • Middlesex Young People’s Clubs (MYPC) have awarded PACE The Don Taylor Trophy in recognition for providing the greatest opportunities for young people with disabilities to access sport.
  • Krishan Solanki has received the Keith Holland Award for Individual Achievement and Sunil Birdy has received Member of the Year Award recognising the significant contribution he has mad to PACE since its creation. Well done Krishan, Sunil and PACE.
  • Sunil and Jaspaul complete Tri Golf Course with Active Ealing

August 2007

  • Summer of Sport funding allows PACE members to experience Karate sessions.
  • Trip to London Eye.

July 2007

  • Five PACE members have completed their CSLA 2 (Community Sports Leadership Award Level 2).

June 2007

  • Three PACE members complete their UK Athletics Assistant Coaching Level 1 Award.
  • Both PACE Boccia squads, PACE Dragons and PACE Panthers compete against Haringey Monsters (Haringey Mencap) at John Chilton School.
  • Sandip receives the Jack Petchey Award.
  • Sailing at Hillingdon Outdoor Activity Centre (HOAC).

May 2007

  • Two PACE members complete their Boccia Leaders Award.

April 2007

  • PACE Dragons and PACE Panthers (our Boccia squads) compete against Bushey Crusaders (Bushey Meads School).
  • Sandip and Jagjit speak at the Inclusive Sport and PE Conference organised by London Sports Forum for Disabled People at Willesden Sports Centre about their Boccia achievements.

March 2007

  • Bobby receives the Jack Petchey Award.

  • Bowling at Park Royal

January 2007

  • Sandip and Jagjit take PACE through to the semi-finals in the South East Regional Boccia Tournament held in Farnborough.

December 2006

  • Hosted our first ‘Question of PACE Sport’ quiz, a fuuly inclusive quiz enabling all our members to take part.
  • Rachel receives the Jack Petchey Award.
  • Trip to Chickenshed Theatre.

March 2006

  • London Sports Forum for Disabled People award PACE ‘Club of the Year’ and Krishna Birdy ‘Volunteer of the Year’. Well done PACE!
