Arinze wins Jack Petchey Award

Published June 25, 2019

PACE are pleased to announce that this month Arinze has been awarded the Jack Petchey Achievement Award.

The Jack Petchey Foundation was set up by Sir Jack Petchey CBE to inspire and celebrate young people. Since 2000, over £124 million has been invested in programmes to benefit young people aged 11-25 across London and Essex. Jack Petchey has always been an incredible partner for PACE since 2006, and the foundation played a huge role in helping PACE and its members be recognised for their achievements.

Since arriving at PACE in late 2018, Arinze has made a huge impression across both PACE Multi-Sports and PACE Boccia, making his competitive debut just last month. This huge amount of progress Arinze has made is testament to Arinze’s big personality, and how well he has integrated with other PACE members and we are extremely excited to see how his incredible potential develops over the next year.

Arinze decided to use the Jack Petchey Grant to get some new boccia kit for the athletes and coaches.

Congratulations to Arinze!
