pace4PACE 2013 review

Published September 18, 2013

PACE Charitable Trust would like to say a massive THANK YOU to everybody who has supported the annual pace4PACE fun run this year.

On Saturday 7th September 2013, at 12 0’clock, PACE members and volunteers assembled in Southall Park to complete the 4km course, with some tight bends and steep uphill areas.

All the runners and fundraisers have worked incredibly hard over the last month, to support PACE and help us reach our target.

Special thanks must go to;

  • All of the participants who completed the course and have been working hard to fundraise for PACE.
  • The Southall Park rangers.
  • Everybody who has motivated, encouraged, supported, cheered on or donated to the runners.
  • The Challenge Network; for providing additional volunteers and support on the day.
  • The PACE Team Leaders; who were available to oversee the whole event, deliver the warm ups, lead a big game of cricket and ensure everybody was safe.
  • The refreshments team; who donate fruit, drinks and sandwiches to PACE every week.
  • The volunteers; who signposted the course, cheered on the runners and supported the members.

With 45 runners taking part and fundraising, pace4PACE 2013 was the most successful fun run ever!

Mr T turned up to complete the course!Some of the volunteers that helped make the day a success
