Congratulations to Mitchell Robinson, who has recently  received a promotion to the PACE A boccia team.

As a member of the PACE Boccia squad for 2 years, Mitchell has represented PACE at B-team level and was one of the standout performers for the B team over the 2016-17 campaign. On top of this, Mitchell claimed a silver medal at National level in the Heathcoat Cup Final, his first competitive experience yielding results.

Mitchell has shown his maturity throughout his time at PACE. Despite being aged only 14, Mitchell is always keen to support and encourage the development of his team-mates, and has recently lead the team as the youngest ever athlete to captain any PACE team. His commitment and contributions to PACE have recently been rewarded with Mitchell winning the Jack Petchey Achievement Award for his services to the club and it’s members.

His potential as an athlete has also been identified by the governing body, with Mitchell being invited to attend the Hawks Athlete Academy, for talented boccia athletes, as well as being invited to phase 2 of the National Talent Assessment, held in Mansfield in September.
