PACE athlete re-selected for England BC2 Boccia Squad

Published October 20, 2017

PACE are delighted to announce that Reshad Saraj has been re-selected for Boccia England Team for the 2017/18 season.

Following a successful year with achievements including a second place finish in the GB championships, being awarded the Boccia England Athlete of the Year and the capture of the National League Championship, Reshad has secured his place in the new-look England Squad for the third season running.

On a personal note, Reshad aims to use this season to further his boccia development and break into the GB Boccia Squad. This will be a tough ask, considering the current GB squad have recently had their most successful ever European Championships, but Reshad is under no illusions of the challenge ahead of him.
Following his selection, Reshad said…

“It is going to be an exciting journey, with the opportunities that lie ahead. I want to thank everybody involved in my selection. I’m honoured to be representing England again for the third time. For the journey ahead, I’m willing to take myself further and work harder”.
