Fundraising for PACE

PACE aims to be sustainable and generate our own revenue in an economic climate where funding and budgets are being cut in local councils across the country.

The cost of specialist equipment, venue hire, insurance, training costs, trips and excursions for PACE all adds up. PACE relies heavily on private donations and fundraising to ensure its sustainability.

In the future, PACE aims support more disabled people, take on more staff, purchase our own mini-bus as well as have the means to hire out a larger venue.

Events

In order to fundraise, PACE organises and attends events such as;

  • The pace4PACE 4km Fun Run; held at the start of September each year.
  • Dinner Dance Evenings; with professional entertainment.
  • Summer carnivals.
  • Bike rides; London-Brighton and London-Paris are both popular events.
  • Sky dives; not for the faint hearted.
  • Mountain expeditions; a real challenge and one of the best ways to help generate funds.

How you can help

The carnivals represent our major source of revenue, we are always looking for donations of anything NEW and UNUSED that can be used as prizes for the tombola. This can be anything from books, games, clothes, bags, DVDs, music, unwanted gifts and presents.

Professional entertainers can support at a wide variety of PACE events. In the past, we have received support from magicians, DJs, comedians and musicians.

Supporters that would like to complete a physical challenge are welcome to join the pace4PACE fun run, bike rides or mountain treks.
