PACE Boccia squads announced!

Published March 5, 2022

The boccia season has begun, and PACE Boccia will be resuming training sessions after a two year absence on March 5th 2022.

With PACE A competing in the Superleague, reinforcements have arrived at PACE Boccia, with BC3 athlete Habib Cham certain to boost the team with his calm demeanour and exciting, positive style of play. The team will remain captained by Alex Dukes, whilst Aiden Robinson will be returning to PACE A. The rest of the team remains unchanged, and the full lineup is…

PACE A: Alex Dukes (c), Reshad Saraj, Jamie Keat, Ramandeep Mann, Habib Cham, Aiden Robinson.

PACE B will be competing in the National League, and following the Covid-19 pandemic, the league has changed slightly with the London region being replaced with the South East region. As has always been the case, promotion to the Superleague is only possible by finishing in the top two placings in the National League finals, qualification for which can only be earned by winning the South East regional league. The PACE B team also has received reinforcements, with Chirag Shah receiving a call-up after a long period of waiting due to the pandemic, as well as new arrival Steven Dowle looking like a very promising player who will add a lot of power to the team. The rest of the team remains unchanged, with Hitesh Ladwa retaining the captaincy, and the full lineup is.

PACE B: Hitesh Ladwa (c), Jagjit Chuk, Savraj Sehra, Arinze Okafur, Chirag Shah, Steven Dowle.

Stay tuned to the PACE website for regular updates on the match results and performances of both teams, as they aim to achieve the objectives of the club, as well as represent, with pride, the only boccia club in the country that has the Queens Award accreditation.
